Cross-Linked SnO2 Nanosheets Modified by Ag Nanoparticles for Formaldehyde Vapor Detection

چکیده

Ag@SnO2 nanosheets were prepared through a hydrothermal method followed by heat treatment and liquid reduction process. Many Ag nanoparticles (Ag NPs) dispersed uniformly over the surface of SnO2 nanosheets. The thickness was approximately 10 nm. After decoration with NPs, nanosheet sensors exhibited improved gas-sensing behaviors compared to pure sensor. response cross-linked decorated NP for 100 ppm formaldehyde vapor up 101.4, which double that (45.5) recovery times sensor 21 s 23 s, respectively. showed reasonable cycling stability, as demonstrated testing times. superior due large specific area, nanostructure, synergistic effect NPs huge sensitizing active sites numerous

Characterization of nanostructured SnO2 thin film coated by Ag nanoparticles

Nanostructured SnO2 thin films were prepared using Electron Beam-Physical Vapor Deposition (EB-PVD) technique. Then Ag nanoparticles synthesized by laser-pulsed ablation were sprayed on the films. In order to form a homogenous coated of SnO2 on the glass surface, it was thermally treated at 500°C for 1 h. At this stage, the combined layer on the substrate was completely dried for 8 h in the air...

Gas Sensing Properties of SnO2 Thin Films Modified by Ag Nanoclusters Synthesized by SILD Method

The effect of SnO2 surface modification by Ag nanoclusters, synthesized by SILD method, on the operating characteristics of thin film gas sensors was studied and models for the promotional role of Ag additives were discussed. It was found that mentioned above approach can be used for improvement both the sensitivity and the rate of response of the SnO2-based gas sensors to CO and H2. At the sam...

Soy-Based Adhesive Cross-Linked by Phenol-Formaldehyde-Glutaraldehyde

To prepare a low-formaldehyde soy-based adhesive with good water resistance, phenol-formaldehyde modified with glutaraldehyde (PFG) with lower free phenol and free formaldehyde contents was used to cross-link the soy-based adhesive. The results showed that the mechanical properties and water resistance of plywood prepared with soy-based adhesive with PFG was better than that of plywood with the...

Ultrathin SnO2 nanosheets: Oriented attachment mechanism, nonstoichiometric

We successfully synthesized large-scale and highly pure ultrathin SnO2 nanosheets (NSs), with a minimum thickness in the regime of ca. 2.1 nm as determined by HRTEM and in good agreement with XRD refinements and AFM height profiles. Through TEM and HRTEM observations on time-dependent samples, we found that the asprepared SnO2 NSs were assembled by “oriented attachment” of preformed SnO2 nanopa...
